Hi, Peggy,
So far as I know, you are completely correct. This is why I think it
is disingenous to "guarantee" against hereditary defects. Isn't this
what pet shops used to do with hip displasia banking on the fact that a
buyer would think that the dog wouldn't get displastic and loving it so
much that when it DID they wouldn't return it? I'd far rather see people
reflect on what might happen and take the chance with their eyes wide
open.
