I always try to find out what the norm is in my area for a pet quality puppy and ask the same. However.....and this is a big issue too. We are not at all well-known. No one knows us, or our kennel name. We are virtual strangers to all the cavalier fanciers in the US. So, we couldn't ask those prices even if we wanted to. A lot of the breeders who are asking those prices are breeders who have been fairly high profile in the show ring...and whose kennel names are well-known to everyone. Myra
