This is the latest information I have.
Michael Garritson did not show up for the hearing. They gave him one hour so at 2:00
when he did not show or call he forfeited the right to make any complaints about the
seizure of the dogs. He still has ownership of the dogs. He will now have to pay the
shelter $6.00 a day boarding fee per dog for 150 dogs is $900.00 a day. That
doesn't include medical bills.
The latest I could find out about medical problems. eight dogs will be seen by a
neurologist six by a cardiologist and 6 opthalmogist, don't know the problems, that
was all I was told.
Now we wait for the hearing officer to make recommendations to the District Attorney
as to what charges.
I will let you know what I hear anything more. We just have to wait.
