One of the other listers posted about having ether ("quick start") at home
for this purpose; I am going to look into it. I might have used it the
other day when a crow hit a car in front of our house and took several
minutes to die. I also liked the idea of keeping an extra dose of narcotics
around. Still, I would be interested in the veterinary advice that Chere
received.
