I have diggers!  We have problems with moles and the dogs dig up every tunnel.  Some 
people
have success with red pepper sprinkled on the ground.  We have to re-do our yard, so 
we're
planning to put down chicken wire under the grass and mulch.  Hopefully, this will
discourage them.
 New puppy is being left unsupervised much too often.  They need to spend more time 
with
him and he should be crated when alone.  He shouldn't be outside alone either.  
Hopefully,
you'll be successful educating them.
