Hi Phyllis, My almost 9 year old girl, Brittany, was suspected by my vet as being allergic to grass and other airborn allergens. She is my girl whose allergies were so severe that my vet wanted to put her on prednisone, which in turn led me to try a raw diet as an alternative to steroids. I can only speak to my experience, which is that it worked miracles for Brittany. I also bath her in mild hypoallergenic formulas for allergic dogs such as Hy-Lyt and Ly-Tar and bath her more frequently in the spring and summer when there are more allergens and everything seems to be in full bloom. There is no doubt about it, even my vet agrees that Brittany's problems have been solved for the most part by changing her lifestyle.
