We actually show quite a lot. Here in the Pacific Northwest, I can tell you....and this is really the truth.....it is the dual registered dogs who are trimmed, bleached, blued, dyed and altered. It is not the AKC dogs who are shown by handlers who are the big offenders. It is the owner/handlers (who bad mouth the handlers and their dogs constantly) who are walking into the ring with altered dogs. Maybe different in your area, but here it is the owner/handlers who have cornered the market on altering the dogs. Myra
