I will gladly assist in creating signatures. What about creating a web-form and e-mail address where users can submit virus reports? I can create an example (test website, so we/you can try it first)?
This could also include listing of viruses known by Clam - it seems that lots of people are asking if a certain virus is detected by Clam. This service could offer search capabilities and the date the virus signature was added. Furthermore it might have the effect of reducing the amount of reports, since you now can see if this virus already is known.
