When it does, clamd takes up a TON of resources while it "reloads". PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE C TIME WCPU CPU COMMAND 28362 root 63 0 21840K 20548K CPU0 1 20:57 99.02% 99.02% clamd It eventually continues... They just hang around until the mail server thinks they are dead and kills them. I was using a UNIX socket, then switched to a TCP socket, and still have the same problem. -- Robert Blayzor, BOFH INOC, LLC [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP: http://www.inoc.net/~dev/ Key fingerprint = 1E02 DABE F989 BC03 3DF5 0E93 8D02 9D0B CB1A A7B0 Beware of programmers who carry screwdrivers. - Leonard Brandwein ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
