First, use a mailer that wraps lines correctly. Second, it is untrue that you *need* to use an rpm of clamav for RH9. I have it running on RH9 compiled from source. No problems at all. I am now running .70 and have been running various versions since .65 and can count the crashes or hung processes on 1 hand. I have it running on 2 servers each handling 70k msgs/day. Third, I followed the docs and it *is* working, so you probably have not "done everything". Fourth, what MTA are you using and how is ClamAV interfaced with it?
