The RPM I'm using has a clamd.conf, freshclam.conf, and clamav.conf so I must have assumed that the rest of the programs used clamav.conf, and must have assumed that clamdscan and clamscan both read the same config file. Maybe it's because I use spamassassin and "spamassassin" and "spamc" (the daemon client) try to act the same way and try to be drop-in replacements for each other. I just assumed that clamscan and clamdscan tried to be drop in replacements for each other as well. --Eric -- Eric Wieling * BTEL Consulting * 504-899-1387 x2111 "In a related story, the IRS has recently ruled that the cost of Windows upgrades can NOT be deducted as a gambling loss." ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
