Hi @all, I’ve now decided to stop using (and uninstall) the heavily modified ClamAV version provided by Ubuntu. Instead, I downloaded the |.deb| package, unpacked it, and manually copied all folders and files into |/usr/local|. That all works perfectly fine, but: Do I absolutely /need/ to perform an “installation” (|sudo apt install ...|), or does that command essentially just do the same thing I already did manually? I just want to make sure I don’t end up running two antivirus programs at the same time.
Thanks in advance for any replies! Marc
