OpenCSW is a community software project for Solaris 8+ on both Sparc and x86.
It packages more than 2000 popular open source titles and they can all easily
be installed with dependency handling via /pkgutil/ which is modeled after
Debian's /apt-get/.

<https://www.opencsw.org/packages/clamav/> though it is unfortuantely quite
out-of-date.
/Disclaimer/: ClamAV is also no longer supported on Solaris because Solaris
is proprietary, less commonly used, and difficult to work with. Future versions
of ClamAV will depend on components written in the Rust programming language,
which also does not support building directly on Solaris. It is likely that
ClamAV will no longer work on Solaris in the future.

I can't imagine that the Bulgarian banking supervisory authority or security
agency doesn't set any IT security standards and that every bank can do
whatever it wants – that would be unthinkable here in Germany.You should
clarify all these issues first before you do something you're not allowed to do
(e.g. customer data privacy).
But if all is cleared then we can surely help, after you explained in detail
what you want to do.

We have about 20 servers with SunOS Solaris SPARC 11.4
We need an antivirus solution for our operating systems.
From Oracle routed us to you.
Can you please help us with some tips and advises on is Clam AV solution we can
use for our purposes.
If yes is there any detailed guide or documentation on what and how to
implement and configure it in our environment.
