Ok - after much fiddling and trial and error I finally got it going on a
Win2000pro machine with an old version of Merak.

I still have a question remaining if someone would be so kind as to
elucidate:-  I still get messages saying the version I have is out of date
when running freshclam (as follows):

The thing is that as far as I can see I HAVE the latest version (win32)
(0.92.1) unless I am missing something somewhere ? Does the Win32 version
lag a way behind Linux etc ?
