I committed this patch, there is no need for a new FileSystemView to be created for
each call to getFileSystemView():

(defaultFileSystemView): new private field,
(getFileSystemView): initialise (if necessary) and return
defaultFileSystemView.
I have a Mauve test that I'll commit in a moment...
