Sean, I believe that I have had USB working with our Raritan KVMs, is the KVM is connected before you boot the server.
You _need_ PS/2 keyboard to install from the CD. Cisco's version of the anaconda installer only seems to support PS/2 or serial :( Bruce Osborne Liberty University ________________________________ From: Cisco Clean Access Users and Administrators [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Hennessey, Sean [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, September 05, 2008 6:19 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [CLEANACCESS] Hardware Question - USB Keyboard Hi all – I’m trying to add my CAMs and CASes to my IP KVM to help with updates and whatnot. I’m falling on my face trying to get a USB keyboard interface to work. Has anyone done this and had any luck with it? It doesn’t work via USB and trying to use a USB to PS2 adapter doesn’t seem to do it either, though that could be because it’s an adapter stolen from a mouse… :) Just thought I’d throw this out to see if anyone has had any luck with something like this. Thanks all! Happy Friday! - Sean ---- Sean Hennessey Networking and Information Security Systems Administrator The University of Portland
