Mac support in 4.5

Has anyone who has upgraded to 4.5 deployed the Macintosh client? Since development of a 4.1 client 
seems to have dead-ended with a version that still not entirely stable we were wondering if a 
working Mac client was an advantage of upgrading to 4.5.
