We've got Cisco's digital signage. Basically all we use them for is in lobbies
and common areas to play slide shows of announcements, and footage of sporting
events. We've also got a news ticker that scrolls on the bottom.

They're easy enough to get setup from a network perspective, but I don't have
much experience with the content management/generation, someone else does that.

Subject: Off Topic: Digital Signage/IPTV Solutions

I apologize that this is not NAC related, but I know there are several EDUs on
this list.

What are your schools doing for digital signage and TV? Both around campus and
in the residence halls. Solutions, experiences? We are looking at options to
get away from the local cable company, or at least something to make them price
themselves more competitively.

If you could spare some time to email/phone call about this topic, please
respond to me off list.

Thanks,
