With the purchase of Scientific Atlanta, Cisco can now sell you the whole IPTV
solution too. We have it rolled out and are multicasting our TV streams across
campus. They also now see college/university as a new space they can sell this
product into.

I apologize that this is not NAC related, but I know there are several EDUs on
this list.

What are your schools doing for digital signage and TV? Both around campus and
in the residence halls. Solutions, experiences? We are looking at options to
get away from the local cable company, or at least something to make them price
themselves more competitively.

If you could spare some time to email/phone call about this topic, please
respond to me off list.

Thanks,

Daniel Wood
