Hi Ryan
If you run mpcmdrun -getfiles in the defender folder you will get a registry
textfile. See Microsoft article 923886

My apologies for the zombie thread, but a student asked that we get support for
this AV.

Does anyone have an identifying registry key for Microsoft Security Essentials
for those of us still is 4.1.X land?

That is good to hear, it shouldn't have taken them much considering it's a
consumer version of Forefront and uses the same definition files. It's also a
fantastic and simple AV, IMO.

Hi,

It's mentioned in the release notes for 4.7(0). In that version it's supported
at least,

Hi

I haven't seen anything about Clean Access support for this. Given that it's
free, I expect it will be popular with students. Has Cisco said anything about
it?
