We are having issues with our Cisco NAC 4.9 not being able to recognize
Microsoft Security Essentials version 4.x; we have had to exempt 3 of our
students' laptops so far. I tried to create a custom check/rule but for some
reason our NAC 4.9 will not execute the custom checks/rules-I tried having
Cisco TAC help me fix this issue about a year ago but we had no success, so for
now we just exempt users until Cisco releases an update (such as their
Compliance Modules) to recognize Microsoft Security Essentials version
4.x.......

Subject: Microsoft Security Essentials

Are others having issue with CCA recognizing Microsoft Security Essentials
recently? What is the response from Cisco? What is the work around other than
having them install another antivirus?

Thanks,
