Aaron, In 4.7.x this remains an issue up to the latest release. The fix that Cisco gives is to basically do specific hotfix/patches checks x64 and x32 with rules. They include this as a "fix" in the 4.8 release notes. For this reason it is likely it will remain a problem in the 4.8.x original release if you are not prepared to change the way windows updates are checked.
I do plan on doing some testing with the 4.8 agent and 4.7.x CAS on a 64 bit system later this week. I'm deploying NAC at a K12 school and hit this problem. They are running AVG 9, Windows 7 x64, and WSUS patch checking. As a result we had to back out. -Mike On 09/04/2010 12:14 PM, Sam Wainford wrote: > We just switched from CAM to Windows validation and are begining to > see lots of 64 bit Vista/Win7 machines with the "Windows Update Agent > is not the correct version" issue.
