4.9 will be the last NAC Appliance software release. After that, NAC Appliance functionality gets rolled into ISE as of version 2.0. ISE includes the Profiler and Collector if you're looking for that. The current NAC hardware can also be used with ISE.
We are seriously looking at ISE, largely because we have a Cisco infrastructure. But it is a complicated product that needs some careful study, especially from your network folks if you decide to use 802.1x. I recommend talking to your Cisco reps and reading the ISE 1.0 documentation to get a feel for it. Douglas R.
