Hello Brad,

AVG 2012 detection issues are fixed in the current compliance module but
you need to have the CAS/CAM running 4.8.2 or higer.

The compliance module is a piece of software made by a 3rd party called
OPswat. This piece is how cisco does its Antivirus and Anti-Spyware
detection. It contains the defentions of how to detect the applications
are present running and up to date.

In 4.8.2 and higher (4.8.3 and 4.9.1) the compliance module can be set to
auto update from Ciscos servers. Becuase this is a server side feature you
will need to upgrade everything Cam/Cas/Client to at lease 4.8.2. You
stated you are not the admin so you would have to work with that
person/people to set that up the appropriate maintnene window. The ugprade
itself had a downtime of about 10 - 15 minutes per device. Then if you
need any time to shake down and make sure everything still works correctly.

The any av just means any supported av in the compliance module will allow
access. You probably also have a date set up like must be running av "any
supported" and defintions must be no older than 7 days from the current
day. This ensures the av is installed running and up to date.
