I do not have a surface to test with but I think the actual cause may be the OS itself. The current surface model is running a special version of Windows 8 designed to support the arm processor in the tablet. The NAC agent is not compiled to run with arm processor support. When the pro version of the surface is released later it will run a full version of Windows 8 and the nac agent should run.
