Hi according to http://www.apache.org/legal/3party.html we can include BSD icensed code in both source and binary form, so there's no legal problem to cpying the stuff over. I think having it integrated gives as the greates flexibility, but as I think this module doesn't directly deal with rdf its also easy to have at a separate utility.
