Hi, Thanks for the advice Jonathan. I was downloading individual packages so that I can save some of my bandwidth :) and I can have only the packages I need. eg. I don't need the xscreensaver and like ( because I don't use screen saver). Neverthless. I will try by just downloading all the files. Thanks again.- Jignesh
Well, you don't have to download ALL of them. You can either remove files from the wget list that you don't want or download them individually from http://xorg.freedesktop.org/releases/X11R7.1/src/ (where the Xorg 7.1 files are) instead of http://xorg.freedesktop.org/releases/individual/ (where all of the versions are). While installing more packages from X can fix problems if you missed one, my point was to try the 7.1 versions instead of the more recent ones since they should all work together properly. If you're looking to save bandwidth, you can still download them one at a time. But then again, I don't recall them taking very long to download all at once anyway. - Jonathan M Davis _______________________________________________ Clfs-support mailing list [email protected] http://lists.cross-lfs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clfs-support
