Hi, sounds like it's the mdev problem(failed to create devices), I created the neccessary devices under /dev, and disable these lines in /etc/rc.d/starup:
/bin/mount -t proc none /proc /bin/mount -t sysfs none /sys # /bin/mount -t tmpfs -o mode=0755 none /dev # /bin/mkdir /dev/pts # /bin/mkdir /dev/shm # /bin/echo "/sbin/mdev" > /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug # /sbin/mdev -s and solve the orignal problem, what's the matter with mdev? I've fellow section 10.3: 10.3. Configure mdev exactly.. > _______________________________________________ > Clfs-support mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.cross-lfs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clfs-support -- Wang, Baojun Lanzhou University Distributed & Embedded System Lab http://dslab.lzu.edu.cn School of Information Science and Engeneering [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tianshui South Road 222.
