Because Clojure/core have decided - after quite a bit of discussion - that providing specific version details is better for users. I certainly agree with them. One of the most common questions I hear about libraries in general is "How do I add this to my project?" - users want a specific string they can just copy'n'paste into project.clj without needing to click through to Maven and figure out group / artifact / version stuff! -- Sean A Corfield -- (904) 302-SEAN An Architect's View -- http://corfield.org/ World Singles, LLC. -- http://worldsingles.com/ "Perfection is the enemy of the good." -- Gustave Flaubert, French realist novelist (1821-1880) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clojure" group.
