I sure hope it does. Not a master of it yet, but the concept seems very interesting. I know that there is a guy writing a book about it.
Many of the other somewhat related technologies like Django are a completely different cognitive model. More tutorials would be great, also they should stress the importance of understanding the model. Its kind of glossed over in the tutorial.
