Hi Sean, Cost is _always_ in mind when choosing venues and we always try to get the best rate we can to keep overall attendee costs down. Depending on time of year, dates, venue choices, etc things don't always work out the way we'd like. Those rates directly affect our bottom line as well for speaker hotel rooms, so we are equally as motivated to find the best rate we can!
We are in discussion with some possible venues for this year and hope to have more info in a few weeks.
