Thanks, for the explanations. I hope for the best, that there will be an working org-babel version in the future. In the mean time I will continue using lentilc.

Therefore, I hope Org will get advice from Cider about a more durable technique, so the next Emacs+Org release might be useful even on the glacial Emacs time scale.
