I forgot to ask you if your Fedora 14's /boot partition is ext4? If so, I believe this is the problem for Debian-based Clonezilla live, since its grub 1 does _not_ support ext4. As I mentioned, the Ubuntu-based Clonezilla live, with the patched grub 1, does support ext4 file system.
