So if I am not mistaken, you have on disk nvme0n1: 
* nvme0n1p1: vfat partition (probably /boot)
* nvme0n1p2: xfs partition
* nvme0n1p3: LUKS containing 1 LV (VG fedora_fedora) for your /root 
partitionCorrect?

If so, your configuration looks like mine except I have multiple LV (I'm not 
sure it matters here).

However, our use-cases differ.
Indeed, you clone your whole disk nvme0n1 while I just want to clone 1 LV 
inside a LUKS partition.

Do you succeed in cloning only nvme0n1p3?
Even better, only /dev/fedora_fedora/root?
Via clonezilla command? Or ocs-sr?
If success, did you open your LUKS and LVM manually beforehand?
I will try to reproduce your usecase.
Can you reproduce mine?
