I agree SFTP is the way to go, however for a ftp standard on Mandrake I
would recommend wu-ftpd. It is well documented and one can "tweak" it quite
nicely.
I'm not sure that's the way to go in this case. Although it is more
configurable, I'm not sure that would be a good thing in this
situation. At this point, any ftp server would be good. I'll try
vsFTPd and then wu-ftpd, as they are both covered in my RedHat book.
