Well actually on a big enough array and 4TB is definitely that the drive speed 
doesn't matter. In fact, you will find that fastest raid card available these 
days is a AMCC Escalade 9500s and it's SATA. Seagate SATA drives can be had 
with the same 5 year warranty that the SCSI come with now and the drives are 
not any less reliable.
