Well actually on a big enough array and 4TB is definitely that the drive speed doesn't matter. In fact, you will find that fastest raid card available these days is a AMCC Escalade 9500s and it's SATA. Seagate SATA drives can be had with the same 5 year warranty that the SCSI come with now and the drives are not any less reliable. -- Mark Lane, CET -- mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sales Manager -- Hard Data Ltd -- http://www.harddata.com T: 01-780-456-9771 -- F: 01-780-456-9772 11060 - 166 Avenue Edmonton, AB, Canada, T5X 1Y3 --> Ask me about our New Dual and 4 Way Blade Servers <-- _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
