Try this:-
Go into Adminmenu and choose Printing.
You will have to sign in as root with the root password.
Choose "Edit printer configuration (web interface)", it's the third one
down.
Choose "Manage Printers"
Choose "Add Printer"
Again sign in with root and root password
Fill out the first screen with the name of your printer , desktop for
location and inkjet for description.
On the second screen parallel port #1 should be the 7th one down.
On the next screen, go to Canon, it should be the ninth one down.
On the next screen choose bj200, it is the 11th one down.
Continue through the remaining screens.
That's it.
