Quick question to all you out there. Im new to this linux thing.
I just recieved the disk that I purchased called blue katana. linux simplyMEPIS version 3.4 I also purchased a used 4 g hdd so i can play around in a completly different hdd from the regular ones that i use on windows. i can run the cd in demo mode no problem but after i load it into the hdd as per instructions and reboot from the hdd, I get the following error message and it returns to the demo boot in and cant get past this. the error message is as follows; There was an error setting up interprocess communications for kde. the message returned to the system was; could not read network connection list. /home/dan/.DCOPserver_dan mueller_o please check that the "dcopserver program" is running. Any words of wisdom??
