Yes, maybe we should now simply wait a bit and see how new cmake scripts with the new features actually look. What we all know are cmake scripts using cmake 2.2/2.4 syntax, cmake cvs has all the mentioned improvements, maybe these are already enough to make the scripts easier to read/write and more scalable (e.g. scoped vars and functions).
