I have a resident on Med A that had a death in the family.  She was out for one midnight.  Can we pick her back up on Med A (she is receiving PT/OT)?   How do we bill?  Can we bill Medicaid for the day?  I know we don't bill Med A for the day she was OOP.  Thanks for your responses in advance.  Also, if it is acceptable to put her back on Med A,  where can I find it in black & white that there are exceptions like this (DIF)?    Barbara
