Richard,

I can certainly relate to this article.

BC CML, a visit to my primary care doctor was scheduled every 3 months for cholesterol and high blood pressure.

When dx with CML in 2000 those two conditions were put on the "back burner."

After my recent 6 mo. appt. with my oncologist, he wasn't to happy that the cholesterol wasn't being checked on.  It was the furthest thing on my mine during the past few years.  He alluded to the undoing of all his hard work saving my life by forgetting to take care of the "whole body."

Which just goes to prove, we must continue to be our own advocates and followup on everything.
