I now remember Sandra emailing me quite a bit in the beginning of my battle
with severe, debilitating bone pain from IM therapy. She told me about her
RA and how it had come back with a vengeance. I don't suppose she could
have taken anything from the Hydrocodone family because she had asthma and it
does interfere with your respiratory system if you are on a high
dose.
I also remember Sandra telling me about her mum, and the ill health they
both shared, but I was always in awe of her career and what she did accomplish
during her time here on earth.
She must have thought me silly to complain from the bone pain from Gleevec,
after what she had gone through, but when we finally did compare notes, we found
it to be very similar, and therefore she urged me to get tested for RA, which I
did and was found negative.
I hope we find the nature of her sudden demise. Many of us are
shaken.
Which leads me to reveal that I just got home from the hospital and in
