Richard and all you cold people out there,
Here I am (as always) running a few days behind on the posts, but I read this topic and had to chime in..... I am always cold. Even in the summer, I get chilled. Everyone thinks that I am crazy (well I probably am!) As far as weight goes, I had gained 20 lbs after starting gleevec 3 years ago, and then without me even trying, it all came back off this past summer. I got all nervous thinking that the CML had become active again, but all my tests done in November came back negative, with the PCR unchanged also. My doctor at MD Anderson had me get my thyroid checked locally just 3 weeks ago, and that test came back normal (low normal but normal). So, we don't know why I lost my weight, but now I know that I can just enjoy the weight loss and not worry that something else is going on. Maybe this gives a little hope to all you out there whom I know are struggling with weight gain issues. You never know, It just might go away on its own one day. Take care!
