Dear Sandy,

Roy is fine, his PCR is not 3-log yet at our local lab and he just
gave 10 tubes of blood for two PCR labs so that there is calibration
between the labs. We now wait for the results and then discuss with
our doctor what to do. He feels fine. He does say diarrhea is much
less than before and he has been on Gleevec for 4.5 years. Sometimes,
he has the puffy eyes from the fluid retention but nothing like what
Suzieq experienced. All in all, he is fine and we are grateful for
that. Does Randy take calcium supplements? I wonder if Roy should
take them, most Gleevec patients do. He does not have cramps or bone
pain but I was just wondering whether he should still take the
supplements.

Love,
Anjana
caregiver to Roy
