Hi, I have always had only a down trend with my PCR results, except of one
time. I was concerned at that time, but my oncologist told me that a lot of
times they see this up and down shifts in PCR's. However I understand your
concern. It doesn't make any sense. One time it says that your test is
negative, so one would assume that it will stay that way, but it doesn't. Oh
well. Hang in there. I wish you that next time your result will be not
detectable and will stay that way forever!!!

Well, after having the last one come in saying "none detected", this
one four months later came in with a huge jump......"positive: Major
Breakpoint 0.013%"

I said a "huge" jump.....my husband didn't think it was so bad, but I
thought compared with past results, it was. This is how it's been
since 2/22/'05......0.006%; 6/14/05....0.008%;
3/6/'06.....0.002%; 7/10/06.....0.007%; 10/18/06.....0.002%;
2/7/07.....not detected; & now the 0.013%.

My question is this....do I have anything to be concerned with.....or
is this just normal with Gleevec patients? I was hoping for it to
stay the same.....but guess not to be.

Thanks,
Suzieq
