Hi friends, My son is using *imatinib* 600mg/day. And he was doing well till june 2008.
dec 07 - 36% abril 08- 4% june 08 - 0,82% >From june to september the PCR climbed to 0,96. I'm concerned about the use of paroxetine 20mg/day that he started on june concomitantly with glivec. Paroxetine is a is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selective_serotonin_reuptake_inhibitor>(SSRI) antidepressant <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antidepressant>. I have asked the doctor but she is not sure about any interaction betwen paroxetine and glivec. If your doctors know something abot that please make me know.
