Hi,

Our local LUG (Indian Linux Users Group, Delhi) is working on a
collaborative project with schools where school children develop
courseware in subjects they like writing about. That courseware will
then available to the public under the terms of the Free Documentation
License.

For this we're looking for a free software (open source) CMS with the
following features:

- Users and groups

- Ability to upload articles as MS Word files, automatically convert
to HTML, XML and/or SGML and associated graphics and render as
content.

- Easy to setup multiple levels of categories (e.g. subject, school
year, syllabus, topic, etc.).

- Ability to associate meta-data with the uploaded files.

- Version control.

- Ability to setup quizzes and associate with articles.

- Easy to use by non-techie users.

- Rating system for articles.

- Unicode (UTF8, UTF16) compatibility.

Do you have any suggestions for a CMS that offers these features or
can be easily extended to have these features? The first 6 features
(up to and including the quiz) are critical for us right now.

Regards,
