I would concur with Nuno's estimates based on a number of installations I have been involved with. The one element Nuno did not mention is the migration of legacy data. This may be less of a problem in a web site than an intranet. A paper to the Intracom 2002 conference in Montreal described a case study of a large (200,000 pages) intranet which took around 18 months to do all the migration.
I recently wrote a paper on the subject of vendor selection and implementation in Online Magazine which may be of interest http://www.infotoday.com/online/nov02/white.htm Martin White Managing Director Intranet Focus Ltd 12 Allcard Close, Horsham, RH12 5AJ Tel. +44 (0) 1403 267030 http://www.intranetfocus.com http://www.intranetfocus.com/blog -- http://cms-list.org/ trim your replies for good karma.
