Orren,

Tacking angle would be the difference between compass bearings on opposite
tacks when close hauled.
Make sure you have a decent speed and power (no pinching) on one tack -
take compass bearing, tack and measure the bearing again once you achieve
decent speed and power and all is stable. Calculate the difference. You
should be in the neighbourhood of 100 as Dwight have mentioned.
If you will get below 100 I'll get jealous :)
