Almost forgot: This would also mean if the skipper is not on the boat, the points go to whomever replaced him and not the skipper. THAT would not go over well and you can't have it both ways!

I would love to be able to jump boats... let's see - a Viper for those light or very heavy (planing) days, a Cal 40 for downwind, a Bermuda 40 for the days when the waves are up......
